Over my career I have seen so many fires start from trees overhanging onto power lines. It's a risk that we need to control in Australia, as we are so vulnerable to bushfires in our climate. Luckily it's relatively easy to control as long as we regularly trim back trees. It's an easy job if you know what you are doing but can be dangerous for amateurs especially if your tree is close to the power lines. I like to educate people about the options that are open to them and the safest ways to go about tree trimming and removal.
